Oscar was born on March 27th, 2005 - one of an 11 strong "Easter" litter. We were traveling over the 27th this year and couldn't celebrate the actual day, so we postponed the party until this past weekend, and after a most delicious brunch with friends, Oscar donned his Party Hat and tried to beat last year's record time for devouring a mashed potato frosted meat cake (that took the better part of 2 hours to prepare)... no, elaborately cooked "people food" is not a normal meal for the big red beast, but yes, he does have more than one handmade hat for special occasions. When you're this handsome, accessories may seem a bit moot; I just lucked out with such a patient, tolerant old soul. Here's to many more birthdays, doggo...

Happy Birthday, My Boy
